Preo Easy Touch integrated Tratto glue pattern controller

All Preo Easy Touch hot melt units can be delivered with a integrated “Tratto” glue pattern controller. This has several advantages compared to a separate controller, like only a minor additional price compared with the purchase price of a separate controller and programming of temperatures and glue pattern through one touch screen display. Furthermore it has no maze of program functions, programming is easy to understand and symbols are used to avoid language barriers while programming patterns. Besides sensors also other switches like a foot pedal can be used as a “trigger” for the activation signal to the automatic glue guns. This is ideal for projects who want to start partially automated, with an option for full automation in the future. In such a case only the “trigger” need to be changed, for example from foot pedal to a sensor.

 

The “Tratto” microprocessor pattern controller has the possibility to put up till 99 pattern programs in its memory bank. Besides that each pattern program can contain up to 8 different glue patterns (with 8 hose connections). The controller can be set in Timer or Distance mode. In distance mode is mainly used at applications which have a variable speed, combined with a encoder and if needed a variable pressure regulator, to provide optimal dosage of glue and pattern length.  While programming in Time modus is mainly used with fixed speed settings or “manual” activation trough for example a foot pedal.
